Formed in August 1999 as the BMW Owners Club Hong Kong, a non profit making club owned and run by and for its members.
The BMW Owners Club HK was officially formed and registered in the HK SAR and governed by the Society Office. This is the first ever one make club in Hong Kong to be reckon by the BMW AG. We now have close relationship with the BMW Concessionaire Limited in Hong Kong and are getting tremendous support from both the BMW Concessionaire of Hong Kong and other official BMW Clubs Worldwide. Therefore, members in our club may enjoy and take part in other official BMW Clubs in the whole world. The events list from other clubs may be provided from our club office.
The Club's principle objectives are to establish, maintain and conduct a club for owners of, and others interested in BMW and any other motors with a BMW engine or chassis. To promote the sport and pastime of motoring in all its branches in connection with motor vehicles of all types in any part of the world, and in particular BMW motor cars of any type. We create opportunities for all the BMW Owners and enthusiasts to gather together and exchange their impressions, know-how, tuning characteristics, and feelings about their cars thus fostering friendship. We organise events such as Sunday drive, Golf Day, BBQ, Boat-Trip, Karting day, Zhu Hai Trackday; Other activities suggested by members are also considered.
In the mean while, we are negotiating with insurance companies, service stations, parts & accessories Shops, and BMW Concessionaire for exclusive discounts to our members. However, in order for us to gain all these benefits, we need more members. The more members in our club, the better bargaining power we have. Therefore, we treasure you and your referral as members. The criteria of to become a member is limited to BMW owners and enthusiasts only. The Club does not encourage any form of illegal racing and reserve the right to expel any members that involve in such activities.
